Step-by-Step Puja Vidhi

Kalash Sthapana: Spread a yellow cloth on a clean spot, fill the kalash, and establish the coconut. Install Maa Saraswati's idol.

Sankalpa: Wake up in Brahm Muhurat, bathe, and wear yellow clothes. Take sankalpa with the mantra "Om Aim Saraswatyai Namah."

Shodopchar Puja: Start with Ganesh puja, then panchamrit bath, chandan application, cloth, flowers, incense-lamp. Perform book puja.

Mantra Japa: Chant Saraswati Vandana ("Ya Kundendu Tusharahara Dhawala..."), seed mantra ("Om Aim Saraswatyai Namah") 108 times. Also chant Gayatri Mantra.

Aarti and Prasad: Perform aarti (4 times at feet, 2 at navel, 3 at face, 7 for full body). Offer pushpanjali. Offer kesariya kheer as bhog.
